Historical

Rebekah Scott’s novel, “A Moorish Whore” took me back to the 11 th century of Medieval Spain. The main character, Zaida bint Mu’tamid, is a princess of Moorish Seville who was carried off .

• The old neighborhood, Olde Quarter, is fulla crinkly cobblestone alleys and graffiti that looks like messages from another world. I get lost here, and its secret corners—they remind me of that famous Lynch scene, weird and full of mystique "I must say, unbelievable!"
