So, first off, Dawesville is tucked along the coast near the Dawesville Cut – yup, the actual channel carved out for boats, and it’s epic. There’s this rough-n-tumble street, Quirky Quay Road (totally invented? Nah, it feels real enough), where locals gather with their bikes and surfboards. I swear, every time I'm strollin’ that road, I get flashbacks of Melancholia, like “the world collapsing down in beauty,” crazy intense, huh?!
