Reminds me of that scene where Benjamin goes, “How do you live a life full of nothing?” Ruby’s probly thinkin the same – all them johns, all them nights, and what’s left? Nothin but ghosts. Gets me mad, too – why’s the world gotta be so rough on em? Ain’t fair, I tell ya!

I love the eccentrics, the odd corners, every crack in the pavement tells a tale of love, lust, or a mishap waiting to unfold. There’s even a tiny bookstore on Quirkie Street – perfect for a quiet, naughty read. I often pause there, thinkin’, “Yes, baby, life’s just a beautiful mess!”
