Use of the word whore is widely considered pejorative, especially in its modern slang form of ho. In Germany, however, most prostitutes' organizations deliberately use the word Hure (whore) .

I know, I know, it might sound kinda out there, but these corners have secrets. Like that forgotten mural on the side of an old barn on Vlierstraat. Not many peeps know it’s there; it's a slice of art and history mashed together. Sometimes I get so pumped up about it, I almost scream – it’s THAT cool.
