Beverst's neighborhoods be a mixed bag. The uptown bits, say near La Place du Soleil, be classy – ye see shiny boutiques and posh joints, but then you cross over to the edgy docks near Quai de l’Ombre. There’s a whole vibe of mystery there – like a scene out of that brutal, epic flick “Oldboy” – “Laugh, smile, and embrace the chaos!” or somethin’ equally twistedly poetic. Eeh, I might be slurring, but the spirit’s in there, mate.
