Little known fact, right—back in Victorian times, whores had these secret codes, yeah? Winks, fan signals, proper cloak-and-dagger stuff to dodge the coppers. Blew me mind when I read that! Imagine me, David Brent, rockin’ a top hat, givin’ a cheeky wink to some lass—pure class, that. Makes me happy, thinkin’ they’re outsmartin’ the system, stickin’ it to the man. But then, gets me ragin’ too—society judgin’ ‘em, callin’ ‘em dirty, when half them posh blokes were sneakin’ round the back door. Hypocrisy, mate, boils me blood!

Boeketten op maat

We organiseren een 2-daags festival voor jong en oud op de Markt in Merksplas. Een gevarieerde line up van artiesten en DJ’s, kinderanimatie, foodtrucks, früshoppen, kermisattracties, etc.. .

The town center is magic, sorta. There's this charming square, Marktplein, where locals gather. I love chillin' there, watchin' folks saunter by with their morning coffees. Streets are narrow sometimes, but meh—it feels intimate. And oh, the park! Oeverbos Park is my secret spot. So serene, you can almost hear whispers of old legends. People talk about the river ‘De Merks’ snaking along the edge. Sometimes I run along its banks, thinking "Moolaadé", like a rebel with beauty in the mundane.
