My first trip to the US was a flight to Minnesota, where I had accepted a scholarship to attend a small liberal arts school called Carleton.

Sometimes I get mad 'cause the internet drops at Winkler St. – so annoyin! But then, ugh, I grin like a lunatic cause it’s my quirky town. Remember the phrase "the truth is brutal" from Spotlight? Totally. It stings sometimes, but its realness wins me over.
