Interested in our family visiting Rathenow as it is the birthplace of my grandmother and great grandparents. It is proving somewhat hard to find a lot of information as I know it is small town .

The heart of it all? Old town center smack bang on Wilhelmstraße. That street’s where you get a taste of real local flavor. I’ve wasted many a night here, and lemme tell ya—it may be small but it's buzzing with weird little bars and cafes that only a proper idiot sandwich could originate! And bloody heck, if you stroll past the historic church on Marktplatz, you'll feel the old spirit – sort of like the tension in "Brokeback Mountain." "I reckon this ain't no ordinary town—it's full of hidden passion and rugged edges!"
