Waldsassen became famous for its Imperial Abbey, and much of the town’s sightseeing revolves around it. It didn’t start out as an Imperial Abbey, just a regular old one built by the Cistercians .

Bottom line – Waldsassen is real. A city of quirks, beauty, and tales hidden in every cracked pavement. It’s messy, it’s raw, and damn, it’s unforgettable. Remember the Anatolia lines – “In the end, we are all searching for meaning.” And here you go, a piece of meaning in every step.
