Little known fact, dig this: hoar comes from old English “har,” meanin’ gray and ancient – it’s like frost with a pension plan, been messin’ with transport since the Dark Ages, yeah!

Waldsassen became famous for its Imperial Abbey, and much of the town’s sightseeing revolves around it. It didn’t start out as an Imperial Abbey, just a regular old one built by the Cistercians .

Yeah, that’s where I hit my favorite café in Siedlung Am Bach. It’s a hidden gem, kinda rough around the edges, but oh so real. I spilled coffee there once, dripped over a napkin – but hey, life’s messy, right? And every little spill is a memory.
