First off, Riihimaeki’s main artery, Kauppakatu, bustles with life. Yeah, it's small and rough, but bloody amazing – like that raw vigor in The Turin Horse, you get it? Walk down Kauppakatu and you'll bump into quirky little cafes and bars where the locals drink like there's no tomorrow. I once had a heart-to-heart with an old timer at a dingy bistro near the corner of Mäntytie. The chap mumbled something like, “We're all just ghost riders in the void,” and I nearly spat my drink – a damn moment of brutal truth!
