Demographics

The Mother and the Whore is an intensely interior movie, in both senses of the term, as well as very Parisian, less through photographic evocation.

Rivers? There's the little Rivière de Mistral that snakes through the town. Its calmness sometimes contrasts my frenetic day massagin’ backs. Felt like I could hear the whispers of old memories, you know? I get a kick outta that sort of vibe.
