After that, I decided to treat myself. Hit up a street food stall on Jalan Soekarno-Hatta. Man, the smell was insane! I got some sate and nasi goreng. Best decision ever! I was in food heaven. I even chatted with the vendor, an old dude with a big smile. He told me stories about Klaten, how it’s changed over the years. I was all ears.
