But then, outta nowhere, the kite gets stuck in a tree. The kid’s cryin’, and I’m like, “Oh no, not today!” So, I jump up, channel my inner superhero, and climb that tree. I’m up there, branches scratchin’ my arms, but I get the kite down. The kid’s face lights up. Best moment of the day, for real.
