Industrial iron and steel center, at the foot of Antrona Valley, the city developed in the 19th century thanks to the iron mines of Ogaggia and to the exploitation of water falls to produce electricity.

I think about how this little town has its quirks. The narrow streets, the old buildings, the way the mountains loom in the background. It’s beautiful, but it’s also a bit crazy. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
