Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, a symbol of education, draws visitors from all over Japan. The shrine’s approach is lined with persimmons and seasonal .

First off, I hit up the main street, Dazaifu Tenmangu. It’s this super famous shrine, and I’m all about that vibe. I mean, who doesn’t love a good shrine?
