Mount Hachimantai

Hachimantai (八幡平) is a relatively flat topped mountain with a summit at meters above sea level, and is often referred to as a plateau. It is the third highest mountain in the Towada .

First off, I hit up the local café on Koshimizu Street. Best coffee ever! I mean, I’m a psychologist, so I need my caffeine fix, right? But the barista? Total weirdo. He spilled my drink all over the counter. Like, dude, it’s not a slip-n-slide! I was ready to lose it, but then he gave me a free pastry. Sweet!
