So, I finally made it inside the castle. The view from the top? Breathtaking! You can see all of Hikone from up there. I was feeling all philosophical, like, “Life is beautiful, man.” But then I overheard some guy talking about how he was gonna climb every mountain in Japan. I was like, “Dude, chill. You’re in Hikone, not the Himalayas.”
