Then, I see this street performer on Nakamachi Street. He’s playing the shamisen, and it’s actually pretty dope. I’m vibing, feeling the music, and then—get this—he starts singing in English! I was like, “Whoa, dude, you’re in Japan!” But it was kinda cool. I mean, who doesn’t love a good shamisen cover of a pop song?
