If you’re staying in Toyama in Central Japan, an afternoon in Iwase is a must-do. This small town at the end of the tramline is becoming a home for fine dining and artisan crafts, but it’s still kept .

After that little fiasco, I decide to chill at the Iwase Seaside Park. It’s beautiful there, with the ocean waves crashin’ and the sun settin’. I sit on a bench, tryin’ to calm down. But then, I see this group of kids playin’ soccer. They’re havin’ a blast, laughin’ and shoutin’. I can’t help but smile. It’s like their joy is contagious, ya know?
