After that, I decided to stroll down to the Muko City Hall. It’s this big, modern building, all glass and steel. I had to drop off some paperwork. Boring stuff, but whatever. As I’m walking, I see this street performer on Hoshizaki Street. Dude’s playing the shamisen, and it’s like magic. I stopped, totally mesmerized. I mean, who knew Muko had such talent? I tossed him some yen, and he gave me a nod. Felt good, ya know?
