Then, I decide to grab lunch at this little joint on Shōwa-dōri. The ramen there is to die for! I order the spicy tonkotsu, and while I’m waiting, I overhear this couple arguing. Like, full-on shouting. I’m just trying to enjoy my meal, and they’re making it impossible. I mean, can’t you take it somewhere else? But then, the ramen arrives, and it’s like heaven in a bowl. I forget all about the drama. Slurp, slurp, yum!
