So I've been through the anime, and I get a general sense of Yasu's job, but I'm still not totally clear on what she actually does. Can anyone shed.

I decide to wander over to the Yasu City Museum. I’m thinking, “Let’s get some culture.” But, of course, it’s closed for renovations. Typical! I’m standing there like an idiot, staring at the “Closed” sign. I could’ve sworn I saw a raccoon laughing at me.
