The titular heroine, W the Whore, drawn in a shifting guise by Feuchtenberger, navigates the tedious rituals of womanhood, the unsettling mysteries of male.

Then, outta nowhere, this kid runs by, chasing a dog. The dog’s all over the place, barking like crazy. It’s hilarious! I can’t help but laugh. But then, the kid trips. Oh no! I’m thinking, “Not again!” But he gets up, brushes it off, and keeps running. Kids are tough, man.
