Then, I decide to take a stroll down the beautiful Laan van de Vriendschap. It’s so pretty there, with all the trees and flowers. I’m feeling good again. But then, I see this old guy trying to fix his bike. He’s struggling, and I’m like, “I got this!” So, I help him out. Turns out, he’s a retired mechanic. He starts telling me all these wild stories about Leesten back in the day. I’m laughing, but also kinda amazed.
