Watched “The Gleaners and I” last night, Agnès Varda, damn genius, y’know? “People glean to survive,” she says, pickin’ scraps, makin’ do. Whores tho, they glean life’s edges too, right? Hustlin’, survivin’, dodgin’ judgy eyes. Makes me kinda sad, kinda pissed—why’s the world gotta be so harsh?

I decide to take a detour through Parcul Central. It’s usually my happy place. But today? It’s a swamp. I’m splashing through puddles, and I see this old couple feeding ducks. They’re just chilling, not a care in the world. I envy that.
