Demografie

Comuna Podu Turcului are în componenţă zece sate: Podu Turcului, satul de reşedinţă, Bălăneşti, Căbeşti, Fichiteşti, Giurgioana, Hanţa, Lehancea, Plopu, Răcuşana şi Sârbi. Se învecinează la nord cu comuna Glăvăneşti, la vest cu comuna Dealu Morii, la sud cu judeţul Vrancea, iar la est cu judeţul Vaslui. Obiective turistice.
