For a city that doesn't have a university Celje manages to maintain a fairly vibrant youth-oriented nightlife, with a decent mix of pubs, dive bars, glitzier clubs, live music venues and alternative .

Start off in the center – Trg svobode, man. It’s not just a square; it’s where old meets new. Walk a bit and you find the Celje Castle sittin' all high on the hill. It’s legit – a reminder that even kings and queens had bad days. And oh, oh! The Savinja River flows right next door, babblin’ secrets in its waters. I once sat by its edge, wonderin’ if the river had more feelings than me after a rough patch with a buggy app update.
