Hamlet area was at one time owned by the Harvey family but was sold off over the years. Most of the large houses have now gone, being replaced with mainly terraced housing. Today we have Missing: prostitute.

There’s a hidden gem at Millers End. A tiny cafe, with beat-up chairs on cobblestones. I swear, that cafe reminded me of rough nights in the movie. "Tonight’s the night," I'd murmur quietly while sipping espresso. Crazy, right?
