Monkhams (Buckhurst Hill)

Monkhams is a great place to eat and drink for all occasions inside and with its large lovely garden spaces too. It's now much improved after it's latest big refurbishment with an even bigger capacity. A good selection of food and drinks also with a good friendly atmosphere, a special mention for Sammy and Lucy behind the bar who.

So, we decide to go on a mini-adventure. We’re wandering around, looking for this “treasure.” We end up at the old mill on Mill Lane. It’s all overgrown and creepy. I’m half-expecting a ghost to pop out. But instead, we find a bunch of old bottles. Not exactly treasure, but hey, it’s something!
