After that, I wandered down to the Beck Isle Museum. It’s a small place, but it’s got character. I was checking out some old stuff, and this one exhibit was about the history of Pickering. Did you know it’s been around since the 11th century? Mind-blowing! But then, I overheard some tourists saying, “This place is boring.” I nearly lost it! Boring? Have they even seen the beauty of the North York Moors?
