On weekends, I hang near Alsip Community Park. The place is a lil' oasis. You got open spaces, picnic spots, and sometimes a random street musician belting out tunes that remind me of my childhood. I once had a date there… man, it was awkward but hilarious – she spilled soda on me right when I said “Lightbulb!” Too funny, it made me laugh off the mess.
