Yes, this was taken at Altamont, the all time rock festival bummer and setting for still the greatest of all rock snuff flicks Gimme Shelter.

The neighborhoods, oh, they swirl with vibrant clashes. The South End – gritty and raw – where street art speaks louder than words. And North Altamont, all fancy, manicured lawns stretch. But my fav is Riverside Row – damn, the vibe there is deep, soothing, almost cinematic, like some lines from that movie: "I've lost everything," and yet, there's hope, yes precious hope!
