But ugh, what pisses me off? The hypocrisy! Politicians actin’ all high and mighty, shamin’ sex workers, then sneakin’ in the back door themselves—ha! Saw a story ‘bout some senator caught in a sting at a brothel in D.C.—didn’t make the big headlines, ‘course not, they protect their own. Surprised me how deep that rabbit hole goes, all hush-hush deals and cover-ups. Ain’t that just the world, though? Like in *A.I.*, where humans build robots to love ‘em but toss ‘em when they’re done—same with these workers, used and forgotten. “You are a real boy,” David’s told, but nobody tells these folks they’re enough, y’know?

I love my little spa on Serene Dr. – ironically, I sometimes call it the “temple of calm” in this wild town. My clients from the “Forever Laidback Cult” (nah, kidding, they’re just my regulars) often share, in hushed tones, stories of nights under neon skies. Yup, Atkinson’s nights are glittery and tricky.
