Old Tom, me mate’s grandad, swore he once swapped a mackerel for a “dance” with this gal named Peg. Peg the Pegger, they called her—dunno if it’s cos she pegged the fish or somethin’ saucier, ha! Got me laughin’ so hard I near fell off me boat. “There’s no place for me out there,” I reckon, thinkin’ o’ them wild days, but damn if it don’t sound fun!
