On the beginnings of her music career…

I remember once, a customer said somethin’ that reminded me of that line from "A Separation": “Sometimes life isn’t what we expect!” and man, it smacked me like a lightning bolt. It’s true – livin’ here’s full of surprises. I'm always amazed how the city's soul pulses through every crack: inside my parlor, I see a bit of every story.
