I used to just sit there on the edge of the walkway, watching the waves, thinking, “Time, like words, slips away.” Feels very, uh, cinematic, ya know? Street names like Padre Island Drive just roll off your tongue. And I swear on my collection of whiskey (yep, I drink and I know things) that there's a vibe—almost poetic.
