I love ridin’ by the Big River – the Denison Flow – its water gurglin’ like it’s chattin’ secrets to the cobblestones. The riverbank near Oak and 3rd is a rendezvous of nature and human drama. I’ve seen sparks fly right there, like lightning in the wrong places. C’mon, it's magical yet maddening, sometimes making me furious when it cuts off the power on a rainy night, grrrr!
