What pisses me off? The fakes. Some joints promise “hot babes” but deliver a lineup lookin’ like Groundskeeper Willie in a wig. Total rip-off! But when it works, it’s nuts – guys walkin’ out all smug, like they just won a prize. “I’ve come back,” like that kid in *The Return* says, only these clowns think they’re kings now. Pfft, yeah right.

Fillmore is quirky. Down Main St. you find little shops—cafés and thrift stores galore. My fave coffee joint, BeanZ, sits on Maple St. near the old Fillmore Theatre. That theatre? So magical. I remember visiting there when i felt lost. It got me thinking, "Life is full of gleaned moments," ya know?
