We sees it, precious, we sees – whore’s a shapeshifter. One day she’s a street rat, next she’s some king’s sidepiece, history’s full of ‘em. Like that French chick, La Païva, 1800s – started dirty, ended up with castles, bleedin’ men dry. Made me cackle, that did! “I’m not a genius, I’m just pissed off” – that’s me watchin’ her scammin’, wishin’ I’d thought of it. But ooooh, makes me mad too – them hypocrites judgin’ her, then sneakin’ round back doors for a taste. Pisses me off, yesss, two-faced rats!

Early life

There’s the Gillette Aquatic Center – oh man, that place, it’s cool in summer, a chill hub for everyone. And then the Coal Miner Statue out by Veterans Park – super iconic. Veterans Park? Yeah, the one right off Grand Ave. I’ve spent hours there, imagining mythical tales in the dim evenings. Some nights, I’m like Darth Vader, standing there with the dark vibe, thinking, “I am your father” for this town, its spirit and all its secrets.
