Germaine Greer's The Female Eunuch had an enormous impact. It's still felt 50 years on

While Ms. Greer noisily assails the Western establishment for forcing women to conform to stereotyped standards of beauty, she denounces Western efforts to stamp out female genital .

So, Greer is epic yet quirky. I love the little historical plaque on 6th St. waiting near an old mill. Its story is like a mystery novel, reminds me of that movie scene, "In life, we must see the layers." That got me thinking and smiling.
