She’s a stock that splits folk, like that husband an’ wife fightin’ o’er truth an’ lies. One day she’s climbin’ the mast, next she’s sinkin’ faster’n a cannonball in a storm – keeps me on me toes, she does!

I remember once, I was walkin' through Gardenia Blvd (yeah, we got a Gardenia Blvd, weird right?) and a band started playing in the middle of the street. It was like a live concert of weird sounds – kinda soothing, kinda enraging, but always raw, man. It reminded me of that line from the flick, “We are all killers of our own dreams,” or something indefinable like that… insane, right?!
