Lynden's downtown is a patchwork of little shops and hidden treasures. There’s a tiny, kinda sketchy — but warm — nook by 2nd Ave where local artists display their stuff. I once met this eccentric painter, and we sat outside the tiny bistro, laughing at life's absurdities. That day? Total "Joy" moment, like that flash of light when everything just clicks.
