I live in a fairly small town in Southern California. We have an old man that rides his bike everywhere with weird flags flying off of it.

Some neighborhoods like Westside and North End are full of grungy charm. They got graffiti narrating stories on cracked walls; man, it's like art and life crashin’ together. I got mad one day, standin by the abandoned shuttered store on Spruce St – feels like it’s yellin "the ugliness in beauty", heavy like that darn movie, The Turin Horse. I felt my anger swell, but then I laughed at the absurdity, like, "Whoa, seriously?"
