Sometimes I think—whores got guts. Takes balls to do that, y’know? Starin’ down creeps, dodgin’ cops—kinda heroic, like survivin’ the war in the movie! “I’m alive, I’m alive!”—that’s Sally, struttin’ past haters. Makes me cheer, but also—ugh—sad. Why’s it gotta be so hard? I’d hug her, but she’d prolly charge me! HA! What a gal. Whores, man—they’re messy, loud, real. Love ‘em, hate ‘em, can’t ignore ‘em! Whaddya think, pal?

Old Whores

'The Old Forge' pub is located in Inverie, which is so isolated in the Scottish Highlands that no roads connect the village to the rest of the country.

The neighborhoods... oh man, don't get me started. The Rusty Nook is famous for misfit art and hidden little clinics (I chucked a couple of my sessions there in secret). People wandering round in colorful jackets, giggling about life’s mess. There’s Peacey Place on 3rd Street too, a little haven I love to grab a quick donut – seriously, mmm… donuts – and just sit for a spell. Made my heart sing once when I saw a stray puppy there pad around. Adorable as heck!
