City of Opa-locka History

Earlier in the conversation, the Opa-locka, Miami-native spoke on the impact that City Girls has had on women and their sexuality, as well.

Down on NW 54th Street, you got these old colorful brick buildings with that Middle Eastern flair. I swear, every corner seems to whisper, "I’ve seen better days..." Sometimes the architecture hits you like a punch – BOOM! – right in the gut. Walkin’ past what they call the Opa-locka City Hall (yeah, I know it sounds bland, but trust me, it’s got mad stories) gives me major nostalgia. Reminds me of when I used to wander by feelin' more than thinkin’, ya know?
