Skokie’s a mix of modern buzz and that quiet charm. I stroll down Devon Avenue, seein’ all them cute cafés and shops – each block got its own personality. I love headin’ to the Niles Center for the Arts on Balmoral Ave, where the vibes are so creative, it reminds me of a pastel dream straight out of a Lars von Trier scene in Melancholia, like “the end is beautiful, but also terrifying.”
