Village History

The parish, and before it the Manor of Calverton under Hugh de Bolbec, has a long history stretching back to Domesday and beyond. Originally, the parish took in the West side of Stony .

The wind whistles, and I swear I hear “I’m not who you think I am…” echoing around. Spooky stuff that makes me wanna double-check the locks. But hey, that’s Calverton for ya: unpredictable, raw, all of it a part of its charm.
