The river runs through downtown – they call it Carroll Creek. Crystal clear? Nah, more like quirky reflections of old neon signs and drifting memories of good times. I walked along its banks, thinkin’ "dunno, man, this river’s like my brain – twisty, unpredictable!" Sometimes I watch parents teaching their kiddos to toss pennies, hopin’ for luck. Crazy, right? Some days, it's all so heartwarmin' and other days... oh man, it makes me mad at how trivial our lives can be.
