Still, surprises me how normal it feels sometimes. Walk in, it’s like a bar but spicier – music thumpin’, drinks flowin’, and yeah, the ladies are chattin’ ya up. One time, this chick told me she paid her way thru med school workin’ there. Blew my mind! There's Maple Trail, a cute street with that vintage feel, and near River Rd, where the little Diboll Creek flows like life's constant stream (not always calm, sometimes WTF moments happen!). And oh man – have you visited Greenwood Park? It's my fav spot for thinking deep thoughts and for a good ol' heart-to-heart with nature. I sometimes sit on those beat-up wooden benches, scribbling notes about life… because vibes, right?
